Home Groups
"And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near."
-Hebrews 10:24-25

Applying God's Word
in Community
Home groups at Graham Emmanuel Baptist Church are designed to give people in our church a chance to build community with other believers in prayer, food, fellowship, and applying God’s Word. Not a typical Bible study—each home group discusses guided questions based on the previous Sunday’s message and focus on how to apply the message in the upcoming week.
What to Expect at Home Groups

Fellowship
Home groups help people connect, serve, and love one another in more meaningful ways. Every group meets at a home, shares food, and focuses on intimate friendship in a small group setting.

Applying God’s Word
Home groups are not Bible studies, they focus on application questions written by the preaching pastor based on the previous Sunday's sermon. The goal is for each home group to re-read Sunday's passage, review it, and discuss how to practically and specifically live it out in their lives—encouraging each other and challenging each other along the way.

Prayer
In a small group setting, trust can be built over time where honest prayer requests can be shared and prayed over during the meeting and throughout the week.
