We are one of the oldest evangelical churches in the area and look forward to future generations of stable ministry advancing God’s Kingdom. Our worship ministry has been long respected for its musical excellence and heartfelt focus on praising God. This is line with our most important distinction: the teaching of God’s Word to make disciples (Mt. 28:18-20).

About The Position
DESCRIPTION
Graham Emmanuel Baptist Church (GEBC) is looking for a spiritually mature and musically skilled shepherd to serve as our worship pastor with the responsibility of teaching and discipling our congregation in worship. This includes leading congregational worship and music programs, organizing worship team members and overseeing A/V technology, and preaching and teaching in various settings. We as a church are focused on discipleship and prioritize the teaching of the Word. We look forward to working alongside a worship pastor who shares this vision and joins the elders in shepherding with Scripture.

CHURCH HISTORY
Graham Emmanuel Baptist Church was founded forty years ago, beginning as a Bible study in 1981. During that time, it experienced remarkable stability and growth that has resulted in multiple building projects, making it one of the leading congregations in the area. Now, with an eye to the future, it offer the next worship pastor the perfect blend of a strong foundation and a blank slate.
OUR MAKE-UP
We like to think of ourselves as Bible-based, Christ-centered, and family focused. Our congregation consists of millennial families as well as Gen X’ers and Baby Boomers. We like lively music, Bible-based lyrics, expository sermons, and family ministries that disciple kids, teens, and adults to each follow Christ in submission to His Word in the stage of life they are in. We also love coffee. Lots of it.
