Parenting is a form of worship. That’s what the Apostle Paul tells the Colossians in his letter to them. After commanding Christians in Col. 3:17 to “do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus” he gives specific examples of how to do that within the family. In Col. 3:20-21, Paul addresses children and teaches them the importance of obedience, and he also teaches fathers the importance of instilling a love of obedience in their children.
