TWO EXCITING YOUTH GORUP EVENTS
The youth group will be attending a Mariner’s game on May 10th. Registration closes at 12PM on Monday the 22nd and cost is $20 per students. Arrive to the church at 3:30. A whitewater rafting adventure will take place in Leavenworth from May 31-June 1st. Registration is now open ($100 per student). CONNECT WITH WOMAN AT THE LADIES’ TEA
The Ladies’ Tea is a church-wide event and a great time to build community, as well as hear encouragement from God’s Word from church member Sarah Cain. Join us for a delightful tea gathering on April 27th at 2:00pm. Hosting info can be found at the Info counter, as well as a sign-up sheet to attend. Please plan to bring a small finger food/dessert to share and dress in your favorite spring outfit for photos. Invite your daughters, grand-daughters and friends! Cost is FREE.
TAKE THE NEXT-STEP
The Discovery Class will be held on Sunday, April 28th and the Membership Class on Sunday, May 5th. Both classes will be held after church in the Chapel. The Discovery Class will be taught by Pastor Stephen and will walk through who we are as a church, including history and doctrine. The Membership Class will discuss what it means to be a part of the church and the process of membership. Both of these classes are required for membership, but anyone is welcome. Everyone who calls GEBC their church home should become a member.
FATHER AND SON FISHING TRIP
It’s time to grab your fishing poles and prepare for a memorable weekend! On Friday, May 3rd-5th, fathers and sons will have an opportunity for adventure and bonding, while enjoying The Cove Resort at Fish Lake in Leavenworth! VBS ON JULY 8TH-12TH
Every day, our kids are bombarded with questions: Did God really create everything? Why do bad things happen? Was Noah’s ark real? Why do I need to be saved? Can I trust the Bible? Save the Date for this year’s VBS! Monday, July 8 to Friday, July 12 from 5:45 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. Prepare to swing into fun as we head out on The Great Jungle Journey!

SIGN-UP FOR A HOME GROUP
The spring 2024 season of home groups begins this week. All current and new home group members must sign up for home groups every new season, either with the cards from the welcome center, or online on the church center app. Current group members will be given first dibs to remain in their group, and new groups are being formed as well. This a great way to get connected with the church community!

HOME GROUPS
Home Groups are GEBC’s small group program designed to get you connecting to other believers in a smaller format. Every group has a unique feel. To find a group to join, tap the Groups link on the Church Center app. You can also fill out a Connection Card if interested or if you have questions.
MEN AND WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDIES
The men’s and women’s Bible studies are each starting new series on Revelation and Ruth, respectively. If you are not part of a home group or Bible study, we encourage you to join. Go to our website or Church Center App for more info.
GIVING AS WORSHIP
In addition to Scripture, prayer, and singing, Christ calls believers to worship in the form of financial giving. If you are part of our church family, we encourage you to give to the Lord in obedience through either the Church Center App, check by mail, bill pay, or after service by the door. “Who serves as a soldier at his own expense? Who plants a vineyard without eating any of its fruit? Or who tends a flock without getting some of the milk?” (1 Cor. 9:7)
